Second Home: Knightsbridge, London.

A townhouse completely furnished from top to toe. This is a client’s London base which they rented until they found a home to buy. The brief was to combine how they wanted it to feel: ‘fresh’, and to specify furniture that would be reusable in a later property. We were constrained by the existing finishes and joinery, as well as several small and odd shaped rooms. We therefore developed complementary colour palettes for each room, and commissioned pairs of furniture pieces such as side tables and chests of drawers - using them singly here - but with a view to reuniting them as, for example, nightstands, in a future home.
